  1. HI Kay! I glad to know you have a new book coming out. I really enjoyed Fire Horse Girl and was glad it was on the Spirit of Texas Middle School list!

    1. Thank you! I was thrilled it was on the Spirit of Texas list too! Interference is set closer to home – West Texas. Friday Night Lights meets Jane Austen’s Emma :).

  2. I would choose Damon Salvatore to be President as long as he made me his First Lady 😀 Thank you for the added giveaway! I love the YA Scavenger Hunt, it is always a blast and I love seeing all the exclusive content! 🙂

  3. Well, I thought I left a comment? But I would choose Damon Salvatore as long as he made me his First Lady 😀
Thank you for the added giveaway! I love the YA Scavenger Hunt, it is always a blast and I love seeing all the exclusive content! 🙂

  4. I would nominate Daenerys Targaryen. Of course, Hermione Granger would make a great president too…if she was American, of course! Decisions, decisions…

  5. I nominate Tristan from Stolen Songbird! He would make a fair ruler, and since he is a prince, he knows his way around politics. Thanks for the extra giveaway! Can’t wait for your next book since I loved The Firehorse Girl ♥

  6. I would choose Gabriella Betarrini from the River of Time Series. I think that she would actually care about the people she governs and do what’s best for everyone!

  7. I would nominate the Lorax. He’d be all for going green and saving the planet. I think we could use someone a little more environmentally friendly.

  8. After finishing the wonderful Winner’s Curse trilogy by Marie Rutowski, I’d have to say Kestrel. She’s so smart, can think ahead and see the big picture, and would put the country ahead of her own dreams/desires. Loved reading the excerpt on the other page about your book, it sounds like a fun contemp, which I really need! Christina @ Ensconced in Lit

  9. Hiyahh! That new book of yours sounds so incredible . I read the teaser and got a little excited because I’m from Lubbock and the city was mentioned! Yay for smallish cities!(: I would personally nominate Aiden St. Delphi from Jennifer Armentrout’s series The Covenant to be president.

  10. Interesting question… I think I’d have to go with Annabeth Chase. Don’t know why, but a daughter of the Greek goddess of wisdom should be great, right? lol

  11. I would have to nominate Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson series. She could do so much good for this country.

Thanks for the extra chance 🙂

  12. As previously stated, Annabeth would be a great president.
But I also like Four from Divergent!

  13. Hmmmm…For president, I would probably nominate Rose Hathaway (with Dimitri Belikov by her side) because she is a strong female character who always tries to do the right thing by those she loves. She has a fiery attitude and a lot of skills that would make her a smart, fair and effective leader. And I just love her in the series 🙂
I can’t wait for Interference! It sounds like something I would absolutely love, and the exclusive material was just fantastic with the cashier and the dog. I love her already!

  14. I would nominate Hermione Granger for president. With her ideals and brains, she could change the world.

  15. Sydney from richelle meads bloodlines. She had strong morals, shes tough, shes very smart and passionate and she puts her full effort into everything:) shes someone to aspire to.

  16. Hi, Ma’am! I think Peregrine from Under The Never Sky Series by Veronica Rossi would become a great president. Sometimes it is not about your physical, mental strength. Sometimes it is about what will you do/ give for your jurisdiction.

Thank you for the chance. Hoping to read your books too. Have a lovely day, Ma’am! 🙂

  17. I would nominate Cinder from the Lunar Series! She seems to have a good head on her shoulders! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. I have a blog on Blogger and I always wondered why many people did not read and comment on it. Comment and Key luv that doesn't exist there may be the reason. After all people are many a times interested in propelling their business forward and seek to use blog comments as a platform to do so. I write about travel on my blogs and visit exciting places in and around New Jersey. I am most definitely going to start using WordPress from now onwards. Thanks for the inputs.

    1. Hey, awesome website. I came across this on Bing, and I am happy that I did. I will definately be returning here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the post, but am just reading as much info as I can at the mogetn.Remards

  18. Congratulations on your soon-to-be new release!

To answer your question… I think I’d pick Cole Stewart (from Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds) for president. I feel he’d have a pretty strong head on his shoulders for the job. (I mean…except, you know, the whole third book thing XD )

  19. Thanks for participating in the hunt! I would nominate Cassandra Palmer from the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance because she is determined and capable, but most of all fair and honest

  20. America Singer from The Selection series for president! She actually did run a nation so we could count on her to do the job. Plus she has a very patriotic name!

  21. I would nominate Magnus from the mortal instruments. Can you just imagine.

    @teamwolf1988

  22. Oh gosh, anyone but the current nominees would be better. I think I would choose Elisa from Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson. She is a natural and fair leader which is what our country is needing.
    Thank you!

  23. Ohhhh, fictional character for US president? I’ll try and restrict myself to current US rules about having to be a natural-born US citizen, and go with Percy Jackson. NAVAL SUPREMACY HERE WE COME.

  24. Tris Prior!!! Best. President. Evah!

Wonderful isea for a giveaway, really funny! 😀
    Have a great weekend! ❤

  25. Jeremy Danvers from The Otherworld Series by Kelley Armstrong. He’s gentle, but knows when to exert his authoritative power.

  26. Love your site! I would nominate John Snow from Game of Thrones for President!

ALSO – Wondering, each year (for two years now!) we have brought authors to an event we created titled, Authors Among Us, to expose students at the American School Foundation, in Mexico City, to literacy, authors, and a panel discussion. We encourage authors to bring books to sell, as well as to have a panel discussion, and to involve with classes, as well as that evening a dinner. We sponsor this from our magazine titled Repentino. a student run magazine, well represented:

As a student magazine, we cover the flight for the authors and also try to provide a cheap discount at a quality hotel, but try to make up with the coverage we provide. Is there any way, you might consider being one of our visiting authors of April of 2017? Just offering that up! Thanks!

    1. That's crazy fast! And very interesting and I'd have to say I'm right in there. Two years ago I'd spend hours in bookstores making lists. Now I get recommendations from my friends, facebook, reviews and google.

  27. I’d nominate Morpheus from the Splintered Series. A lot of his actions are a bit shady, but he always has people’s best interests at heart.

  28. Ooooo… I’d have to pick Marcus Flutie from the Sloppy Firsts series. He’s one of my lasting literary crushes :-).

  29. Kay, I first want to tell you how much I enjoyed the sneak peek at Interference when you were hosted by another author. The book sounds wonderful, so thank you for the giveaway chance. As to your question, I’m not going to overthink it, and I’m going to say Melissa from Alex Gino’s MG novel, George. She likes acting now, but she’s headed for great things, and why not the presidency! 🙂

  30. Although Pervy Jackson would be a good president, I think Jason Grace would be better 😉

  31. Cool question for a giveaway!! I’d love to win and read your books 🙂

As for my nomination, I will go with….Dewey, the YA librarian from the comic strip Unshelved!!

    1. I am a Christian, and that i don’t have any trouble with Jesus and Mary Magdalene getting an intimate relationship…Why could not Jesus have Mary Magdalene as his girlfriend but still manage to all individuals miracles? Does Jesus getting a girlfriend diminish the majesty of Christ’s existence?

  32. I would nominate The Doctor. He’s already saved earth a number of times and told us all how small minded we are. I believe he would do a fantastic job at helping us overcome our past errors and prohibit us from destroying our future. Plus he is just all around awesome at everything!

  33. I’m thinking of Magnus Bane from the Mortal Instruments. LOL everything will be glamorous then.

Thanks for being one of the authors in the hunt!

  34. I would have nominated Aelin Galathynius from Throne of Glass, but not sure that would be a wise choice, so I’ll go with Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. Thanks for the chance!
